Abstract:
Once again I am happy to be writing this short note for the second issue of the first volume of the journal, the International Journal of Computing and ICT Research. This is in way a celebration of sorts in that the new journal launched by Makerere University earlier this year to highlight new research developments, experiences and best practices in the use of information communications technology (ICT) across Africa has made an immediate impact by its maiden edition. This has been a result of wide dissemination of the maiden issue to wide cross-section of African scholars and African developmentists by the very power of ICT for which it stands to expound.
